MARITA DYASON
Marita takes care of logistical planning for clients before and after their safari and She runs and manages the administrative side of the business. Ensuring that clients have a hassle free experience from beginning to end.

TAMMY & FRANK DYASON
Tammy and Frank are both avid hunters and have been privileged enough to have their dad as their PH on all their hunts. Ernest has successfully guided them on numerous safaris since they were youngsters.
DEAN BALLANTYNE
Dean Ballantyne, a young professional hunter, born 200 years too late. Dean has years of experience working across Big Five areas in Southern and East Africa. His apprenticeship in Tanzania has given him a strong foundation in wildlife behaviour, survival skills, and ethical hunting practices, as well as working with its diverse cultures, this is carried into every part of his work. His love for the outdoors, tracking skills, bush knowledge, confidence working with dangerous game and commitment to his clients makes him a perfect fit to the Spear Safaris family.
WIGHARDT VAN DER GRYP
Wighardt is a true native of South Africa, he was raised in the rural parts of the country and has attained a great measure of bush knowledge and hunting skills. He has been a member of the Spear Safaris team for more than 2 decades and brings a wealth of conservation and hunting knowledge. Wighardt has extensively hunted in South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Botswana.
JOHN CHABALALA
John is the head tracker and skinner. John’s roots lie in Mozambique and is a very hard working guy. He has been working for Spear Safaris since its inception in 1995. He is dedicated and loyal. His skills as a tracker are unsurpassed and his excellent skinning abilities ensure that the trophy field preparation is of a very high standard. John is a committed team player.
Chengeta
Chengeta is our number 2 tracker and hails from Zimbabwe. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. He will keep you entertained on folk lore from his home country.

Trophy Solutions: Johan van der Merwe: Trophy Solutions Africa has been privileged to be the choice of facility to process their hunting clients’ hunting trophies since 2008. It is an absolute pleasure to handle their trophy consignments as their trophies are always ready for collection directly after conclusion of a client’s safari, together with their documentation which is always done and completed to the proverbial “T”! Without good quality trophy parts and completed documentation, we are basically stuck, which can cause a huge delay in the timeous export of a client’s trophies. Spear Safaris completes the entire package, which includes the post safari documentation… as no safari is “completed”, before the trophies are with the client!
