Spear Safari is owned and operated by Ernest and Marita Dyason. It is a family owned business that has been operating since 1995. The staff at Spear Safaris is dedicated to ensuring a safari experience that "surpasses all expectations" and ensuring the client has the experience he wants out of his safari. Initially we started hunting exclusively on a 35000 acre privately owned nature reserve bordering the Greater Kruger National Park, which is home to the Big Five, in the Hoedspruit area, where the Dyason family has a percentage ownership. This concession offers some of the best and affordable Buffalo hunting in South Africa. As the business grew the demand for different species grew and we now have 4 additional concessions throughout South Africa varying in size from 7000 acres to 15000 acres, offering a staggering variety of huntable species. We also offer hunting in neighboring countries under the auspices of well-established Outfitters in those countries. Spear Safaris is not a high client turnover safari company - we rather offer personalized service from both Ernest and Marita, before during and after the safari, and believe in sustainable utilization and fair chase hunting.
